The Coombe Keynes 10K is a friendly 10K trail race run from one of south Dorset’s prettiest villages. The race is run on a scenic and undulating course wholly within the private and historic Lulworth Estate.

From tracks on chalk downland to woodland paths there is outstanding scenery throughout the race’s 10km length. Located only a stone’s throw from Lulworth Cove and the Jurassic Coast, this race is not to be missed regardless of whether you’re a fun-runner or seasoned club racer. Here’s what you need to know:

• Distance: 10km
• Ascent: 175m
• Terrain: Off-road tracks & paths over chalk downs and through woods
• Conditions: Mostly dry trails with some sections of mud likely after rain
• Navigation: Route is sign-posted, marshalled & easy to follow (but it’s your responsibility not to get lost!)
• Refreshments: Cupless race, water stations on the course & at the finish. Café with legendary Coombe Keynes cakes.

The race is run almost entirely off-road on private tracks and paths through the beautiful Lulworth Estate. Trail shoes are recommended although road shoes are fine in dry conditions.
